You are invited to attend and participate in a Collaborative Agreement Refresh community forum on Tuesday, September 26 at Taft High School (420 Ezzard Charles Drive).

The event is an opportunity for members of the community to take part in a conversation on the refresh of the City of Cincinnati’s historic Collaborative Agreement. The conversation will focus on community/police relations; where we’ve been, where we are, and where we will go from here.

The event will feature a variety of presentations from Collaborative Agreement stakeholders and include an engaged question-and-answer session.

This is the first of three community forums. Additional details below as well as the Collaborative Agreement Refresh website (cincinnati-oh.gov/refresh)

The City of Cincinnati announced four requests for proposals (RFPs) to spur development in underutilized City-owned property, and an additional RFP to bring seamless mobility to local parking and transportation services which will lead to the development of an integrated platform.

The RFPs are announced as an end-of-summer “Block Party” to reflect the focus on Cincinnati neighborhoods and connectivity.

Want more information? Click on the link below, where you’ll learn about the individual RFPs and get details about an upcoming information session hosted by the City of Cincinnati Department of Community & Economic Development.

What is Rosh Hashanah?

It’s the Jewish New Year. Literally meaning “the head of the year” in Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah – also spelled Rosh HaShanah, Roshashana and Rosh Hashannah, among other variations – is the first of the Jewish High Holy Days and is usually celebrated in September. Due to the Jewish calendar being based on the lunar cycle – like Easter is for Christians – it moves every year. In 2016, it began October 2.
