Monday, July 10th, the Community Outreach Advocates sponsored a community talk about the effects of violence on neighborhoods and children. Discussion centered around a grass-roots effort to put trauma centers in neighborhoods. The trauma centers would be staffed with mental health professionals. One is planned for Westwood. The other would be Winton Hills.

A representative from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office was in attendance to hear more about the plan.

This event was free and open to the public.
